Deadly 'Sneaker Waves' Get Warnings, Thanks to Forecaster

The number of deaths in Northern California from so-called sneaker waves, large waves that suddenly swamp a beach and often take people unawares, prompted one meteorologists to start forecasting the conditions that would bring the waves.
