Japan Must Halt Antarctic Whaling Program, UN Court Rules

Japan has been ordered to temporarily halt its whaling program in Antarctica, after the UN's International Court of Justice ruled today (March 31) that the practice is not for scientific purposes, as Japan has previously argued.
