Some Racing Raindrops Break Their 'Speed Limit'

The radical raindrops travel faster than their terminal velocity, surprising scientists who aren't sure how the droplets are able to fall from the skies so quickly. The finding could mess with rainfall and erosion estimates, the researchers added.
