Spider's Terrifyingly Large Eyes Used To Conquer Moving Prey | Video

The net-casting spider, Deinopis spinosa, has eight eyes, but in this species two are much larger than the rest. A new study suggests that the enlarged eyes are used to capture moving prey and allows them to be active at night.
