HIV Genetic Code Shell Simulated By Supercomputer | Video

The cone-shaped HIV capsid is composed of about 1,300 copies of the protein p24 arranged into a hexamer coat (blue) with p24 dimers and trimers (orange) linking each hexamer unit. Approximately 4.2 million atom are modeled.
