NASA Telescope Snaps 1st Photos of Mystery Region on the Sun

NASA’s IRIS spacecraft has taken its first photos of the lowest layers of the solar atmosphere, a little-understood region of the sun. The early observations suggest huge amounts of energy flow through this part of the sun's atmosphere.
